5 TOP TIPS TO ENSURE THIS SUMMER, YOUR BIKINI BUTT IS THE BEST ON THE BEACH

It’s that time of year again. But this summer, don’t pack your sarong. Whether your behind is V-Shaped, Peachy, flat or round, these top tips will help you to tighten, tone, lift and shape your butt.

Bottom’s Up!

1. LUNGES

All women should embrace total body toning exercises like lunges, which are great for working the glutes from all angles. Whether you want to lift it, firm it or even make it smaller and peachy, there is a lunge for you. I always get my clients to perform a variety of lunges such as cross-legged lunges, reverse lunges, standard lunges, squat lunges and walking lunges. Lunges are great for toning your outer and inner thighs, your butt and your abs. They also help you improve your balance, which helps to strengthen you back and core

2. Eat Clean

There’s an old saying, “Never eat anything your Grandmother wouldn’t eat.” Choose natural unprocessed foods first and foremost. Keep in mind the longer something remains eatable on your shelf the longer it will remain on your hips. Strive to consume the majority of your calories from whole foods rather than shakes and bars. Look for natural carbs in the forms of fruits and veggies, and healthy dietary fat from sources such as coconut oil, olive oil, raw nuts, seeds, and avocado. Aim to reduce processed foods, grains, soy, refined sugars, and ‘diet’ products with artificial sweeteners in them to a minimum, if at all.

3. TAKE THE STAIRS

It might sound obvious, but the simplest solutions often are. When you walk up the stairs you are directly activating the back of the leg and your butt. This is the perfect way to lift, tighten and tone the butt and thighs. There is no magic number, or height, but if either are available, try to walk them – even take them two at a time.

4. CLENCH IT

Have you ever heard of isometric butt squeezes? Basically, this will involve you laying face down and squeezing your butt together as long and as hard as you possibly can. Your butt will tone up and you’ll lose some butt fat in just a few weeks If you hold your breath when doing these exercises, it’ll make them even more effective!

5. FAKE IT!

As we age, our tush takes a turn for the worst, and even the plumpest butt can start to droop. While squats are the ultimate cure, you can fake a rounder bum with self-tanner. First apply an all-over base coat to hide stretch marks and bruises. Then go back and give the W-shaped crevice under your bum an extra coat. This will give the illusion of a rounder, perkier derriere. Yes, it’s called butt contouring.
